Coyote Activity Report
If the coyote activity you are reporting is an emergency situation, please call 9-1-1 before reporting here.
Please report any coyote activity you see first-hand in Rossmoor. These reports are used to track and validate use of our public safety authorities resources in and around Rossmoor. The more accurate your reports are the more likely it is that these authorities will be able to take the appropriate actions.
By reporting the coyote activity through the Rossmoor Wildlife Watch Program site, you are alerting each of our public safety agencies (OCAC, OCSD, CDFW). As always, you are more than welcome to contact each agency yourself and file a report directly with them. See our resources page for contact and reporting details.
For consistency and accuracy, we prefer you to make your report using the form below. However, you can also call our Coyote Sighting Hotline 562.521.9453 and provide your first-hand account of the coyote sighting as well. Be sure to leave your name, phone number and report information (date/time, where, and what you saw) so we can make an accurate reporting of the indecent.
We will use the information you provide to update our coyote sighting map as well. This update is not automatic and may take a few days to get your report on the map.
Please note: we do need your name and contact information so we or our public safety agencies can follow up with you if there are any questions. None of your personal information will be displayed publicly on our website.
